Who you are agreeing with
stillPUB is built and maintained by Parallax Intelligence Partnership. These terms cover the stillPUB website at stillpub.com and the stillPUB app at stillpub.com/app/. Using either one means you accept them.
What stillPUB is
stillPUB is a program that runs inside your web browser. It opens Microsoft Publisher (.pub) files, lets you edit them, and exports PDFs. All of that work happens on your own computer. We do not receive a copy of anything you open, and we hold no account for you.
Your documents stay yours
You keep every right you already have in the files you open, edit, and export. We claim no ownership or license over them. Because your documents are never sent to us, there is nothing on our side to claim rights over in the first place.
Keep your original files
Converting a document between formats is never perfect. stillPUB tells you in plain English when something cannot be converted, but you should still keep your original .pub files and a backup of anything you cannot afford to lose. Treat an exported result as a new copy, not as a replacement for the original.
Sensible use
- Use stillPUB only for documents you have the right to open and edit.
- Do not use it to break the law or to infringe someone else's rights.
- Do not attack, overload, or attempt to break into the site or the servers behind it.
- Do not present stillPUB as your own product or imply that we endorse yours.
The software is provided as it is
stillPUB is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not promise that it is free of defects, that it will convert every document perfectly, or that the site will always be available. Browsers change, and a feature that works today may need fixing tomorrow.
Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Parallax Intelligence Partnership, LLC is not liable for lost work, lost data, lost profits, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of stillPUB. Some jurisdictions do not allow those limits, in which case they apply only as far as that jurisdiction permits.
Changes to stillPUB and to these terms
We may add features, change how something works, or retire a part of the product. If these terms change, the effective date at the top changes with them, and continuing to use stillPUB after that means the new version applies.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be sorted out informally belongs in the state or federal courts located in Michigan.
Trademarks
stillPUB is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Microsoft. "Microsoft" and "Microsoft Publisher" are trademarks of Microsoft Corporation, used here only to describe file compatibility.

How data is handled is set out in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.
